Maryland Table Tennis Center (MDTTC) is a premier full-time table tennis club in the United States with 10,000 square feet of newly renovated space. MDTTC has a national and international reputation as one of the best table tennis clubs in the United States. Table tennis players of all ages are welcome. Our members range from recreational players to elite players who compete in local, national, and international tournaments year round. We promote excellence and sportsmanship in a safe and friendly environment. The Center is open seven days a week.
Our training center offers instruction through camps, group classes, private lessons & workshops. We also offer various leagues, group practice sessions, and an Afters School program for school-aged kids. Since 1992, players from all over the world have chosen to train at MDTTC, including professional players from Asia, Europe, Central & South Americas, members of the U.S. Junior & Cadet, Mini-Cadet teams, U.S. National Singles and Doubles Champions, as well as Junior and Senior Olympics medal winners.
We are famous for our world-class coaches Cheng Yinghua, Jack Huang, Jeffrey Zeng Xun, and Larry Hodges; together, they have over 150 years of training, competition, and teaching experience. MDTTC head coaches Cheng and Jack are former Chinese National Team members, head coaches for the Sichuan and Guangxi Chinese Province teams and former U.S. #1 players. Cheng is a U.S. Olympian and six-time U.S. Open or Nationals Men’s Singles Champion. Larry is a U.S. Table Tennis Hall of Famer for his coaching and writing. In addition, we regularly invite professional practice partners and trainers with various playing styles from China to help our players raise their level of play. The MDTTC's coaching staff has trained and coached hundreds of players to national titles and Junior & Senior Olympics Gold Medals.
MDTTC also provides a wonderful facility for social and corporate functions, as well as birthday parties and other parties for special occasions. In addition, we regularly host community based tournaments and charity events.
