Cheng, partnered with Chen Longcan (Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion), won multiple Chinese National Men's Open Doubles titles in late 80s - early 90s.
Cheng Yinghua, the 1985 U.S. Open Men's Singles Champion. Cheng won the U.S. Open Men's Singles again in 1993. Cheng also won the U.S. Open Men's Doubles with Jean-Michel Saive in 1998.
